A vanishing edge dissolving into the horizon over the Colorado River.
Set into a steep limestone slope, this residence asked for a pool that felt like part of the landscape rather than an object placed upon it.
We engineered a 60-foot vanishing edge that reads as a single sheet of water against the valley beyond, with a submerged lounge for slow evenings.
